Precision Filter - Stainless Precision Filter

The Precision Filter, often referred to as a surface filter, operates by capturing impurity particles on the surface of the filter medium rather than within it. Primarily utilized for removing trace suspended solids, especially before processes like reverse osmosis and electrodialysis, it serves as a security filter following the multi-media filter. This filter comprises a housing and an internal filter element. During operation, water enters the filter element from the exterior, trapping impurity particles on the outer surface. The purified water then passes through the filter element and exits through the collection pipeline. The precision filter typically has a filtration accuracy ranging from 1.1 to 20μm. The filter element's accuracy can be easily replaced, and the housing is commonly constructed from either stainless steel or organic glass. Regular backwashing, typically performed once a day, is recommended for effective use.
